Senior Android Engineer

NYSE-listed AgEagle Aerial Systems is seeking a talented, experienced (5-10 years), and motivated Sr.

Android Engineer  to join the software team at our senseFly located in Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne, Switzerland.  The candidate should be able to work autonomously but able to collaborate with the other R&D team members.

• Note that this is a 100% office-based position.

Design and implement Android applications using Kotlin.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create seamless user experiences.

Optimize application performance and ensure high-quality code.

Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth functionality.

Propose and implement UX improvements to enhance user satisfaction.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Comfortable and experienced user facing.

Requirements : Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in C++ development.

Strong knowledge of Android development using Kotlin.

Familiarity with Android SDK, APIs, and frameworks.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Efficiency in proposing UX improvements.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications : Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).

Knowledge of mobile app architecture and design patterns.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
