As we continue to develop and expand our robotics platforms, we are looking for a Software Engineer Robotics 80-100% who is passionate about building reliable and innovative software for real-world robotic applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of software and hardware, contributing to intelligent robotic systems that operate in demanding environments.

Your Role

As a Software Engineer, you will develop, implement and improve software solutions for our robotic products. You will work on a variety of technical challenges, take ownership of your development tasks and have the opportunity to expand your expertise across different software domains.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain software components for our robotic platforms
  

• Develop and improve backend services, interfaces and communication between software components
  

• Support the development and integration of embedded software and hardware-related functionalities
  

• Integrate new technologies and software functionalities into existing robotic systems
  

• Contribute to the integration of AI-based features and intelligent functionalities into our products
  

• Optimize software for performance, reliability and maintainability
  

• Analyse system components
  

• Collaborate closely with software, electronics and mechanical engineering teams to develop integrated robotic solutions
  

• Contribute to software architecture, code reviews and continuous improvement of development practices
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  
• At least 2 years of professional experience developing and maintaining complex software solutions for robots or other hardware-based systems in a team
  
• Excellent programming skills, preferably in Python or C++, as well as good knowledge of Git and Linux
  
• Experience with software architecture, debugging, testing and modern software development practices
  
• Highly motivated with a hands-on mentality and the drive to turn ideas and prototypes into reliable, customer-ready products
  
• Structured and detail-oriented approach to solving complex technical challenges, combined with an open mindset to question assumptions and find better solutions
  
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of development tasks and collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
  
• Fluent in English. German or any other language is an asset
