Senior Full-Stack Developer Java / Angular (m/f/d), 80-100%

Location: Bern / Zollikofen Start date: 1 January 2027 Contract duration: Fixed-term until 31 December 2031

Your Responsibilities

  • As a full-stack developer, you will develop a new specialist application for police administration and a reporting platform. It will replace two existing systems used by the Swiss federal administration.
  • You will develop both the backend and frontend using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
  • You will work in an established agile Scrum team with a Product Owner and Scrum Master, delivering your work according to sprint planning.
  • You will write automated tests, for example, using Cypress.
  • You will contribute to migration, further development, and architectural topics, and participate in short-notice meetings and on-site workshops.

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience (at least 5 years) in development with Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework.
  • Good knowledge of Angular (version 21 or higher).
  • Experience with REST and SOAP interfaces.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Cypress) and in a DevOps environment.
  • Experience working on agile projects using Scrum.
  • Very good German language skills, both spoken and written (at least C1 level).
  • Willingness to work on-site in Bern at least two days per week.
