Front Office Quant Developer - PnL Risk System H/F

Developer & Business Analyst, PnL & Risk Systems, Geneva

We are recruiting on behalf of one of the worlds leading energy and commodities trading companies, based in Geneva.

The team owns one of the most critical processes in the firm : P&L computation, reporting, P&L explain, and accounting close processes, all built in-house on a proprietary CTRM platform used daily across trading, middle office, finance and operations.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of features, from business requirements to production rollout
• Implement P&L explain frameworks attributing daily movements to market and position drivers
• Build valuation engines and reporting tools for complex trading instruments
• Engage directly with trading desks, finance directors and senior management, no intermediary
• Contribute to the evolution of the technology stack alongside an established Oracle/PL/SQL platform

What we are looking for

• University degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years as a software engineer combining technical and functional responsibilities
• Strong SQL skills, PL/SQL or equivalent procedural DB language a strong plus
• Entrepreneurial mindset, ownership culture, comfortable with a fast-paced daily release cycle
• Excellent communication skills with non-technical and senior stakeholders
• Full professional proficiency in English, French is a plus
• Familiarity with PnL, accounting or risk concepts is a real advantage
