Group Internal Auditor - Geneva, Switzerland

Meraki Talent are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Group Internal Auditor to join an international organisation based in Geneva. This is an excellent opportunity for an audit professional to contribute to the effectiveness of the Group's internal controls, risk management and governance processes across an international business environment.

Reporting to the relevant Group Audit leadership, you will conduct risk-based internal audits across multiple business functions and international locations, providing independent assurance and actionable recommendations to strengthen processes, improve operational efficiency and mitigate risk.

The role offers exposure to a diverse range of business activities, stakeholders and markets, with the opportunity for regular international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk-based internal audits across Group entities, business units and functional areas.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management frameworks and governance processes.
• Identify control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies and potential areas of risk, providing practical recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare clear, well-structured audit reports, presenting findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with local management and cross-functional teams to promote a strong internal control environment and a culture of continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for an analytical, proactive and commercially minded audit professional who is comfortable working across different cultures and engaging with stakeholders at all levels of an international organisation.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in internal audit, external audit or a comparable risk, controls or assurance role.
• A relevant professional internal audit certification, such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Fluency in both English and French is essential.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, audit methodologies and financial or operational processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
