Sr Software Engineer – DevOps, RIVR

pRIVR, an Amazon company, is building Physical AI by deploying autonomous robots for real-world doorstep delivery. Operating daily in diverse urban environments, RIVR's robots continuously learn from and navigate the millions of scenarios encountered during deliveries. By owning the full stack from software to hardware, RIVR is purpose-built for safety, reliability, and the customer from day one. /ppWe are looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliable and efficient development and deployment of our robotics software. You will focus on building and maintaining the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that enable our engineering teams to rapidly and safely iterate on software for our physical robots. /ph3Key job responsibilities /h3ulliBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines for robotics software deployment, including further developing and managing observability and telemetry pipelines. /liliWork closely with software and robotics engineers to automate infrastructure and streamline workflows. /liliImplement best practices for code security, versioning, and reproducibility. /liliManage and maintain our development environments, including containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes). /liliTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues. /liliContribute to documentation and guidelines to enhance knowledge sharing across the team. /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulliAt least 3 years of experience in DevOps or a related field. /liliProficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.). /liliStrong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). /liliExperience with C++ build tools (i.e. CMake). /liliFamiliarity with version control systems (Git). /liliBachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience with robotics software development or a related domain. /liliExperience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform). /liliFamiliarity with ROS2. /li /ulpAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
