This is a highly collaborative role requiring clear communication, strong technical judgment, and the ability to work effectively across teams. /ppYou will own significant backend components end to end, set technical direction, and navigate cross-team decisions and disagreements with minimal oversight. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ullipDesign, build, and scale distributed backend systems that serve millions of users. /p /li /ulullipDrive end-to-end delivery of features: from design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring. /p /li /ulullipArchitect real-time, low-latency APIs and backend services for AI-driven conversational systems within Assist. /p /li /ulullipDevelop cloud-native services in Java, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability. /p /li /ulullipWork on infrastructure components, including AWS-based deployments, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS). /p /li /ulullipBuild robust APIs and backend services that power AI-driven products and real-time interactions. /p /li /ulullipEnsure resiliency, fault tolerance, and compliance in high-throughput environments. /p /li /ulullipCollaborate with product managers, infrastructure engineers, and other teams to deliver production-ready systems. /p /li /ululliLead technical execution: Break down complex project requirements into actionable tasks, distribute work effectively among team members, and unblock the team to maintain velocity.br/ /liliMentor and grow talent: Actively guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a collaborative culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and best practices across distributed team setups.br/ /liliManage stakeholders: Serve as the primary technical liaison for product managers and cross-functional partners, translating product vision into technical strategy and proactively communicating progress, risks, and architectural trade-offs. /li /ulullip8+ years of professional backend engineering experience. /p /li /ulullipProficient in modern Java (17+). /p /li /ulullipProven experience designing and scaling backend systems for millions of users or high-throughput real-time services. /p /li /ulullipSolid understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS or similar), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS). /p /li /ulullipExperience with distributed data systems (e.g., Redis, Apache Kafka). /p /li /ulullipExposure to LLM integration (prompting, evaluation, observability). /p /li /ulullipStrong background in high availability systems, failover, and resiliency design. /p /li /ulullipCurious mindset with an eagerness to learn and adapt. /p /li /ulullipExcellent knowledge of observability practices: logging, monitoring, tracing, metrics. /p /li /ulullipStrong communication skills in English, able to explain complex technical topics clearly. /p /li /ulh3Nice to have /h3ullipJava frameworks knowledge (Micronaut, Spring). /p /li /ulullipPython experience. /p /li /ulullipPerformance tuning and scaling experience in high-throughput environments. /p /li /ulullipFamiliarity withGitOps, CI/CD,IaC. /p /li /ulpWe are the pioneers and trailblazers of a global IT Market Category (DEX) that is shaping the future of how the world works, giving our customers’ IT Teams total digital visibility across their enterprise.
