You'll be instrumental in building the features that make our powerful product feel intuitive and delightful to use. /p pOur users, legal professionals, operate under pressure and deal with high-stakes knowledge. Your mission is to build experiences that reduce cognitive load, guide users to the information they need, and help them fully leverage our product's capabilities. /p pYou'll collaborate closely with our product team to translate vision into reality. This role goes beyond implementation. We value engineers who contribute strategic thinking about how features should work, not just how they should be built. Attention to detail matters here, from structure and architecture to animations and micro-interactions. /p pYou'll have significant ownership over frontend architecture decisions and a real opportunity to shape how we build our product as we scale. This is a hands‑on role where you'll write and ship production code daily, but also one where your voice matters in product discussions, architectural decisions, and the evolution of our design system. /p pWe're looking for someone who brings both humility and strong opinions, someone who can advocate for their ideas while remaining open to feedback and different perspectives. /p h3Your responsibilities will include: /h3 ul lipDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, performant frontend code in a production environment, ensuring high code quality, reusability, and long-term maintainability /p /li lipContribute to the frontend architecture and ensure that it scales /p /li lipReview code and contribute to a high standard of code quality and maintainability /p /li lipParticipate in agile development processes /p /li lipCollaborate with product, design, and other engineers to create, design, and translate product vision into implementation /p /li lipStay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies /p /li lipEnsure UI decisions prioritize usability, accessibility, and reduced cognitive load for end users /p /li lipContribute to the evolution of the design system /p /li lipWrite tests and monitor frontend performance to ensure a reliable, fast experience /p /li lipProactively identify areas for improvement and contribute ideas beyond your immediate scope /p /li /ul h3You're a great fit if you: /h3 ul lipHave 4+ years of experience building and maintaining production applications with real end users using modern frontend frameworks (we're using React) /p /li lipLove creating consistent and enjoyable user experiences that guide users through legal research, document analysis, and workflow automation, delighting them at every interaction /p /li lipHave solid TypeScript experience, are comfortable with generics, type inference, and building type-safe components /p /li lipHave a sharp eye for pixel-perfect UIs and smooth micro-interactions that convey meaning and bring designs to life /p /li lipDemonstrate strong communication skills, can clearly articulate technical and visual decisions, and enjoy in-depth discussions with other team members /p /li lipEnjoy collaborating closely with the product team, understanding their vision, and elevating it by crafting user experiences that are both beautiful and functional /p /li /ul h3Bonus points for: /h3 ul lipExperience with NextJS in production, including server-side rendering strategies, caching, and route architecture /p /li lipFamiliarity with Figma and design handoff workflows /p /li lipAccessibility experience that ensures our product works for all user groups /p /li lipExperience leading frontend initiatives or mentoring other developers /p /li /ul h3What you can look forward to: /h3 ul lipLocation: Office 5min walking distance from Zurich central station, where we primarily work on site /p /li lipCollaborative and supportive work environment /p /li lipPotential for professional growth and advancement within the company /p /li lipOwnership and ability to impact the company, product, and culture /p /li /ul h3This would not be the right role for you if you: /h3 ul lipView frontend as just "making things look pretty" rather than optimizing user experience and product value /p /li lipWant strict requirements and prefer to work solely on what you are told /p /li lipPrefer working in isolation rather than collaborating closely with design and product /p /li lipYou haven't yet owned significant frontend decisions, or you haven't developed strong opinions about frontend architecture /p /li lipPrefer to work remote-first and don't value in-person collaboration /p /li /ul pAt DeepJudge, we believe great teams are built on diverse perspectives and experiences.
