We bring together the best minds and pursue the most promising science. /p pThis role will direct the development of end-to-end leadership in an important portfolio in the Packing Category space for JNJ Innovative Medicine. This includes strategy development, shaping key relationships within the business and managing key supplier relationships. This role covers the E2E scope (including development, through commercial to base business management) of the Primary Packaging space and requires a PG30 Global Category Manager with strong procurement and business acumen to lead this space in a compelling manner. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and execute E2E Packaging Procurement strategies that are aligned with the business/sector needs including sourcing strategy, negotiations, contract implementation and performance against established targets (Cost drivers, risk analysis, mitigation, analytics, applicability / of category value creation). /li liManage supplier relationships, communicate changes to category strategy, execute joint collaborative initiatives, and monitor supplier contract negotiations. Relationships are with senior executives at the supplier end. /li liManages relationship with key internal senior stakeholders, both in Supply Chain and with Technical Community. /li liConnect with, influence and shape the agenda with key internal Supply Chain and Technical Community stakeholders regarding the appropriate supplier selection for upcoming NPDs and NPIs. /li liManage prioritize portfolio of Procurement segment specific initiatives and provide updates to Global Procurement Leadership. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBroad-based understanding of business operations and practices /li liHigh level of proficiency with core Procurement skills (e.g., supplier management and performance, supply market analysis, Category Management, Procurement Excellence, etc.) /li liStrong experience in Primary Packaging is preferred /li liExpertise in contracting, understanding regulatory, legal, compliance and commercial elements /li liCustomer Orientation, including building and maintaining strong relationships with JNJ senior Management /li liStrong level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community /li liStrong leadership, vision and strategy setting, communication, influencing, collaboration and talent development skills /li liStrong project and change management capabilities /li liStrong business acumen /li liMulti-country and Multi-Sector experience preferred with experience across geographies of varied sizes and businesses. /li liStrong verbal and written communication skill with ability to confidently present complex information /li liAbility to seek and drive continuous improvements /li liAbility to prioritize requests, and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives /li liJudgment in developing new approaches and resolving issues /li liStrong influencing skills with ability to see issues from multiple viewpoints and understand differing needs of stakeholders (e.g., business, Finance, Procurement LT, Marketing, Technical Community, Supply Chain); Has "presence" /li liProven track record in leading cross-functional teams and executing significant influencing roles. /li liDemonstrated flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment, while ensuring the organization can effectively and efficiently move through transitions /li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liMinimum of a Bachelor’s / University or equivalent degree is required; advanced degree is preferred /li liMBA or equivalent Master’s Degree preferred /li /ul h3Required /h3 ul liMinimum 8 years of relevant work experience /li liStrong Procurement background, preferably in the Packaging field /li liPlease refer to “Qualifications” section above for more details /li /ul h3Preferred Skills /h3 pBusiness Data Analysis, Business Savvy, Category Management Strategy, Coaching, Competitive Landscape Analysis, Contract Management, Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA), Critical Thinking, Data Analysis, Market Savvy, Negotiation, New Program Development, Performance Measurement, Process Improvements, Procurement Policies, Relationship Building, Risk Management, Spend Analysis, Strategic Thinking, Supplier Collaboration, Sustainable Procurement, Technical Credibility, Vendor Selection /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
