We are looking for a
Quality Process Engineer
Who wishes to support the Plant in fostering a culture focused on excellence and the ‘right first time’ principle.
This is a role for an engineer who enjoys getting involved, solving problems on the ground and turning quality requirements into effective manufacturing practices.
The role requires, first and foremost, a strong commitment to working closely with and supporting the production departments, and therefore a focus on ‘building quality day by day’.
Our ideal candidate is not a desk-based quality professional, but a practical, proactive engineer who wants to be where the product is made.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electronical Engineering.
- Specialization in Quality Systems Management.
- Languages: Italian and English.
- IATF 16949/ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
- Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Ishikawa.
- At least 6 years’ experience in the same role within multinational organizations.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation.
- Strong ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Someone with excellent ability to manage stress and pressure effectively.
Main Responsibilities
To be the ‘quality benchmark’ for the production department.
- Develop, implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System.
- Monitoring processes and managing CAPA.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Plan and manage internal process and system audits.
- Coordinate external certification audits and customer audits.
- Ensuring the effectiveness of implemented actions through structured follow-ups.
- Periodic reporting on quality indicators (scrap, complaints, costs).
- The place of work is Mendrisio and willingness to travel is required.
