Senior Finance & Controlling Process Advisor – SAP S/4HANA (40–50%)

For our client in the banking sector, we are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor specialising in Finance and Controlling processes. The engagement focuses on business enablement, process optimisation and aligning business requirements with SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

You will work alongside an existing technical S/4HANA expert, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical implementation.

• Prepare and facilitate workshops with Finance and Controlling stakeholders.
• Assess existing processes and identify practical optimisation opportunities.
• Advise on business process design and related system requirements within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Translate business requirements into feasible, SAP-aligned process improvements in collaboration with the technical S/4HANA expert.
• Help business stakeholders understand SAP capabilities, constraints and the implications of proposed changes.
• Develop and evaluate solution options and guide business decisions.
• Align proposed S/4HANA changes with the client’s business priorities and strategic objectives.

--->This is a business-facing advisory role focused on process improvement and business enablement, supported by an existing technical S/4HANA specialist.

• Approximately 8–10 years of experience with Finance processes and 8–10 years with Controlling processes; these may overlap.
• Strong expertise in process advisory, process design and process optimisation.
• Solid functional understanding of SAP S/4HANA in Finance and Controlling, enabling you to assess technical feasibility and collaborate effectively with implementation specialists.
• Experience preparing and facilitating workshops and advising senior business stakeholders.
• Ability to explain complex topics clearly and support informed decision-making.
• Immediate availability and willingness to attend workshops onsite in Lausanne.
