Role

As our AI Operations Associate, you help build how Visium works with AI internally — turning ideas into a running operation: the tooling everyone relies on, the enablement that makes people proficient, the automations that remove busywork, and the measurement that shows it’s working. You’ll work closely with the team, learn fast, and ship real, adopted AI-native ways of working.

This is an internal role, not a client delivery one. Your client is Visium. You will design and build agentic workflows that improve how our own teams operate, roll out and govern our AI tool stack, train people to actually use it, and stand up the operating loops that keep it healthy over time.

You'll be responsible of:

  • Design, build and deploy agentic workflows and automations that improve how teams across Visium operate.
  • Implement and take part in shaping Visium’s internal AI strategy with leadership, then own it end to end: from direction to a running, measurable operation.
  • Drive adoption and enablement: build shared resources and reference setups, and design a continuous learning loop that keeps everyone sharp.
  • Make pragmatic build-versus-buy decisions, favouring simple, managed solutions over over-engineering.
  • Communicate policies and ways of working clearly, and make people actually want to follow them.
  • Measure impact: track adoption and productivity signals, share what’s working with the team, and help decide what to keep or change.

Requirements

You are a genuine AI nerd. You tinker after hours, you run local models, you have opinions about agent frameworks, and you read Hacker News before your coffee is cold. You have actually coded with agents and run real agentic workflows, like Cowork-style flows for example. You also are the kind of person who already has their own OpenClaw or Hermes agent running on a Mac mini at home. Not because we would ever drop those into Visium’s infrastructure, but because we want someone who likes to try things out, and who understands the limitations by experience. Someone who can then apply the precept to a highly secured environment, knowing what is mature and what is not.

But you are not only a builder. You think about AI’s impact on how people work and live, not just on output. You care about making colleagues more capable and happier, not merely faster. You have done change management with tech or AI before, and you know that the hard part is people, not models. You have a solution-driven mindset: you dig for the real problem before reaching for an implementation.

You believe in well-organized, centralized information and you keep your own work tidy. You are security-minded and fluent in cloud and licensing. You are opinionated but you like to think and plan out loud with others. And because you will mostly work by yourself, you are genuinely independent: you can take a direction and run with it without hand-holding.

To succeed in this role, you bring a combination of expertise, experience, and skills including:

  • Strong technical background. Software or AI engineering foundation, comfortable building and shipping. Security-minded by default.
  • Hands-on with agentic AI. Real experience coding with agents and running agentic workflows in practice — Cowork and beyond. Bonus credibility if you have stood up your own OpenClaw, Hermes, or comparable agent setup for personal use; we read that as proof you live this, not just read about it.
  • Strong understanding of agentic AI security domain. The attack surface, the common traps.
  • Automation and integration skills. Able to design and build workflows, MCP servers, and a clean internal data layer that agents can act on.
  • Cloud and licensing fluency. Comfortable reasoning about cloud platforms, tool tiers, access models, data privacy, and cost.
  • Change management and communication. Proven track record of driving adoption of new tools or ways of working, training people, and communicating policy clearly. You know how to talk to engineers and non-engineers alike.
  • Product and UX instinct. You scope the real problem and prefer simple, managed solutions over over-engineering. You know when to buy and when to build.
  • Independence and ownership. You can run a mandate solo with light supervision and organize your own delivery.
  • Entrepreneur experience is a plus for this position.
  • Languages: Fluent in English.
