This is a highly collaborative role requiring clear communication, strong technical judgment, and the ability to work effectively across teams. /p pYou will own significant backend components end to end, set technical direction, and navigate cross-team decisions and disagreements with minimal oversight. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ullipDesign, build, and scale distributed backend systems that serve millions of users. /p /li /ul ullipDrive end-to-end delivery of features: from design, implementation, deployment, and monitoring. /p /li /ul ullipArchitect real-time, low-latency APIs and backend services for AI-driven conversational systems within Assist. /p /li /ul ullipDevelop cloud-native services in Java, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability. /p /li /ul ullipWork on infrastructure components, including AWS-based deployments, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS). /p /li /ul ullipBuild robust APIs and backend services that power AI-driven products and real-time interactions. /p /li /ul ullipEnsure resiliency, fault tolerance, and compliance in high-throughput environments. /p /li /ul ullipCollaborate with product managers, infrastructure engineers, and other teams to deliver production-ready systems. /p /li /ul ullipContribute to technical discussions, share knowledge, and help evolve best practices in backend and infra engineering. /p /li /ul ullip8+ years of professional backend engineering experience. /p /li /ul ullipProficient in modern Java (17+). /p /li /ul ullipProven experience designing and scaling backend systems for millions of users or high-throughput real-time services. /p /li /ul ullipSolid understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS or similar), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS). /p /li /ul ullipExperience with distributed data systems (e.g., Redis, Apache Kafka). /p /li /ul ullipExposure to LLM integration (prompting, evaluation, observability). /p /li /ul ullipStrong background in high availability systems, failover, and resiliency design. /p /li /ul ullipCurious mindset with an eagerness to learn and adapt. /p /li /ul ullipExcellent knowledge of observability practices: logging, monitoring, tracing, metrics. /p /li /ul ullipStrong communicationskills in English, able to explain complex technical topics clearly. /p /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ullipJava frameworks knowledge (Micronaut, Spring). /p /li /ul ullipPython experience. /p /li /ul ullipPerformance tuning and scaling experience in high-throughput environments. /p /li /ul ullipFamiliarity withGitOps, CI/CD,IaC. /p /li /ul pWe are the pioneers and trailblazers of a global IT Market Category (DEX) that is shaping the future of how the world works, giving our customers’ IT Teams total digital visibility across their enterprise.
