Cloud & Automation Engineer (m,f,d) - AWS/Azure/Kubernetes/Golang Bern - 100%

Project: To join a leading Swiss organisation, we are looking an experienced Cloud & Automation Engineer to support the engineering and operation of shared Kubernetes platforms based on AWS EKS and Azure AKS.

Your Tasks:

* Engineer and operate shared Kubernetes platforms based on EKS and AKS
* Enable application teams to deploy and run their applications on the platform
* Maintain and further develop Kubernetes add-ons
* Implement customer feature requests
* Optimise platform and cloud costs
* Contribute to security hardening
* Support audits and compliance initiatives
* Participate in on-call duties

Required Skills & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
* Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience in an enterprise environment
* Experience with AWS and/or Azure
* Good knowledge of Terraform, YAML and ideally Golang
* Experience with GitOps, GitHub and GitHub Actions
* Knowledge of Helm and Kustomize
* Experience with tools such as Argo CD, Kyverno, Karpenter, Cilium and Grafana
* An automation-first mindset
* A structured, independent and delivery-oriented approach
* Willingness to participate in on-call duties

Languages:

* Fluent English (written and spoken)
* German is an advantage
