Key responsibilities
You advise clients on the complex accounting and financial reporting matters that shape their most important decisions including:
- Technical & operational accounting: Advise clients on consolidations audit-ready reporting and closing procedures and implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
- Finance Process Advisory: Shape the finance function of the future by setup of new processes or analysis and optimization of existing end-to-end finance processes (e.g. R2R P2P O2C FP&A H2R)
- AI Readiness Assessments:Work alongside our AI experts to lead and conduct AI Readiness assessments supporting the client in finding the right solution.
- Implementation of AI-native solutions and finance automation tools:Lead implementation projects alongside our technical implementation partners.
- Managed Services: Setup of our AI-driven managed services solutions and management of full finance processes for the client.
- Lead engagements from first scope to final delivery - manage engagement economics delivery risk and stakeholder expectations.
- You are a significant part of growing the Swiss practice - spotting opportunities within existing relationships contributing to proposals and building new business.
- Add to the firms voice through developing new service offerings hosting events and preparing publications.
- Coach and develop (Senior) Consultants through technical review mentorship and honest feedback.
Required qualifications & attributes for success
You will recognize yourself in most of the following:
- An academic background in accounting finance or economics ideally paired with a qualified accountant credential (CPA ACA ACCA or equivalent).
- Five to seven years in a Big 4 or comparable advisory environment or in a finance optimization role in industry.
- Deep applied knowledge of finance processes and tool implementations.
- Confidence in working with modern finance technology and digital tools in advisory delivery.
- Fluent in German and English.
