ppThe basic research laboratories of Department of Reproductive Endocrinology of the University Hospital Zürich are located in Schlieren and consists of three research groups that study 1) basic mechanisms of early embryogenesis; 2) molecular and immunological mechanisms underlying endometriosis; and 3) the influence of extracellular vesicles contribute to oocyte and female reproductive health. We are currently looking for a research technician/biosafety officer to support our research activities and to coordinate biosafety related matters. More info on the department and our research groups can be found here: /p h3Your main tasks /h3 pThe selected candidate will take on a central role in lab organization, and as the new biosafety officer, coordinate and oversee the group's biosafety concept. /p ul likeeping the biosafety concept up to date; training of new and current lab members on biosafety topics, yearly biosafety training /li liSupport the three research group leaders in common lab duties including wet lab and equipment maintenance, inventory management, special trash disposal, sterilization, etc. /li liAct as main contact of the department for the facility manager /li liAssist in ordering lab supplies, liaising with vendors and technical spcialists /li liSupport the research groups in specific projects (hands-on support with biochemical, immunological, cell biology techniques) /li liOrganizing/updating laboratory protocols and archives /li liUpon necessity: sample collection and transfer from the USZ Campus to Schlieren. /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 pYou are very well organized and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
