What you can contribute

  • In collaboration with the eight chambers of the Federal Supreme Court, draft press releases on case law and prepare institutional press releases; respond to media correspondents' enquiries
  • Advise the chambers, governing bodies and the Secretary General on communication matters
  • Monitor the Federal Supreme Court's publications (brochures), prepare the content of the Federal Supreme Court's management report and take responsibility for its production
  • Lead projects in the field of media and communication and develop communication concepts
  • Prepare and update content for the website and intranet (in collaboration with the Webpublishing group)
  • Manage social networks X and LinkedIn (in collaboration with the social media group)

What makes you unique

  • Complete legal university education (Master, lic.iur)
  • Training and several years of professional experience in communication, preferably in judicial communication and/or judicial reporting
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent command of German and French, good knowledge of Italian (passive); knowledge of English is an asset
  • High stress resistance, flexibility, social skills and sense of responsibility
  • Experience in project management, organisational skills; leadership experience is an asset

In a few words

The Deputy Secretary General, Head of Media and Communication, has great linguistic ease and solid legal knowledge. They advise the chambers on drafting press releases related to rulings, prepare press releases and write institutional press releases. As the contact person for media correspondents, they respond to their enquiries and provide information. Advising the chambers, governing bodies and the Secretary General on communication matters is part of the role. They manage publications and the management report and lead or contribute to projects in the field of communication. They are assisted by a media specialist and three media secretariat staff with whom they work closely.
