About our client

For our client, an internationally active pharmaceutical company based in Basel with a recognised market position in clinical research and the development of new therapies, we are looking for a committed Clinical Trial Scientist (m/f/d) starting 01/09/2026. The company is among the leading players in its field, driving forward innovative, global study programmes.

Your responsibilities

• Take ownership of the medical-scientific review and interpretation of trial data across several ongoing projects, including safety trend analysis and signal detection
• Lead or support a cross-functional, global trial team to ensure all project milestones are delivered on time
• Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and amendments in close coordination with the medical lead
• Actively participate in site selection and recruitment strategy together with cross-functional partners
• Prepare and support dose escalation meetings, consolidating trial data for decision-making bodies
• Take responsibility for budget planning and monitoring of individual studies in collaboration with relevant departments
• Proactively identify and manage risks at the trial level
• Provide strategic input on study concept, feasibility and operational execution

Your profile

• Completed degree in life sciences or healthcare (Bachelor's required; an advanced degree such as PhD, MD, PharmD or Master's is an advantage)
• Approximately 2 years of experience in clinical trials or clinical development
• Solid knowledge of clinical trial methodology, particularly in early clinical development
• Strong organisational skills and experience managing multiple trials simultaneously
• Good knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements
• Basic understanding of financial principles in a clinical context to help control costs
• Strong communication skills, a solutions-oriented mindset, and curiosity paired with a willingness to learn
• Fluent English skills, spoken and written
