It involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of engineers, estimators, and technical specialists, contributing to the development of high-quality, competitive bids. /ppThis position sits within a function that is being strengthened with a strong operational focus, ensuring that technical expertise is directly applicable to real-world project delivery. Following the award of projects, there is the opportunity to transition into the execution phase, with involvement in on-site delivery. Over time, Technical Office professionals are expected to support projects across their full lifecycle, ensuring continuity between tendering and construction. /ph3Key Responsibilities - Technical/Tendering Phase /h3ulliReview and analyse tender documentation (specifications, drawings, quantities, and schedules) /liliSupport the development of technical and commercial bid strategies /liliPrepare cost estimates, project timelines, and resource plans /liliEvaluate technical feasibility and identify risks, opportunities, and alternative solutions /liliContribute to method statements and value engineering proposals /liliPrepare supporting technical documentation and drawings /liliCoordinate with external consultants, suppliers, and subject-matter experts /liliSupport the development of project references and supporting material for bids /li /ulh3Execution Phase - Project Delivery (Scope depending on experience and seniority) /h3ulliSupport planning and coordination of site activities /liliAssist in implementing solutions defined during the tender phase /liliProvide technical support to project and site management teams /liliMonitor technical execution and manage project documentation /liliAct as a technical interface between internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders /li /ulh3Key Requirements: /h3ulliDegree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline /liliPractical, hands-on experience in tunnelling or underground construction projects /liliExposure to conventional excavation and/or TBM methods /liliMinimum 2-3 years of experience in: Tender preparation and/or Delivery of underground infrastructure projects /liliStrong ability to interpret: Technical specifications, Bills of quantities, Engineering drawings and plans, Costing and technical documentation /liliProven experience in preparing technical documentation and tender material /liliOperational mindset, with on-site exposure (not purely design-focused) /liliFlexibility to travel depending on project requirements /liliStrong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills /liliAbility to work both independently and within a team environment /li /ulh3Languages: /h3ulliItalian: required /liliGerman: highly desirable /liliFrench: beneficial Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, Practical, hands-on experience in tunnelling or underground construction projects, Exposure to conventional excavation and/or TBM methods, Minimum 2-3 years of experience in tender preparation and/or delivery of underground infrastructure projects, Strong ability to interpret technical specifications, bills of quantities, and engineering drawings, Proven experience in preparing technical documentation and tender material, Operational mindset with on-site exposure, Flexibility to travel, Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, Ability to work independently and within a team /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
