Dial Varnishing Specialist - Expatriation to Thailand

As part of its international development, our client wishes to strengthen its varnishing department, composed of around 15 people. This position is aimed at a hands-on person capable of solving technical issues, stabilising production, and sustainably structuring the department's knowledge, while bringing real expertise in application, colour adjustment, and mastery of varnishing processes.

Dial Varnishing Specialist - Expatriation to Thailand

Desired profile:

Solid experience in varnishing, painting or lacquering, ideally in the watch dial sector or an industrial environment with high quality requirements Very good command of preparation processes, formulation and colour mixing, colour adjustment, paint/varnish application and aesthetic control Ability to intervene practically on site to solve production problems, adjust application parameters and ensure the conformity of parts Appreciated knowledge in calibration, first-level maintenance and proper functioning of varnishing equipment Experience in process structuring, writing standards, implementing procedures and capitalising know-how Strong interest in knowledge transfer, team training and building lasting expertise within a department Rigor, autonomy, practical sense, solution orientation and ability to work in an international environment Professional English appreciated Main responsibilities:

Diagnose varnishing/painting/lacquering issues and implement concrete solutions to guarantee the conformity of parts Stabilise, structure and formalise standards related to preparation, colour mixing, colour adjustment, application and varnishing control Master application parameters, notably spraying, layer regularity, varnish thickness and prevention of aesthetic defects Ensure proper adjustment, calibration and monitoring of varnishing equipment, in collaboration with the relevant teams Establish a robust technical knowledge base to capitalise know-how and prevent its loss over time Support the industrialisation and reliability of the varnishing department, with a view to sustainable and reproducible processes Train, transfer knowledge and support the team of around 15 people, while collaborating with Quality, Methods, Industrialisation and Production departments
