We develop industry-leading Bitcoin self-custody solutions, Bitcoin-based financial products, second-layer scaling technologies, and enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure. /ph3What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities) /h3ulliBuild and operate cloud infrastructure for blockchain platforms in banking, custody, payments, and digital asset environments /liliDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, testing, and release management /liliDeploy and manage infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation /liliOperate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes /liliConfigure and manage environments across AWS, Azure, hybrid, and on-premise deployments /liliImplement security hardening, secrets management, encryption, and access controls /liliBuild and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch /liliSupport production deployments, go-live activities, and incident response /liliCollaborate with Solution Architects to ensure infrastructure meets security, compliance, and architectural requirements /liliContribute to reusable infrastructure patterns, automation frameworks, and operational documentation /li /ulh3What We Look For In You (Required Qualifications) /h3ulli3–6 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure operations roles /liliHands‑on experience building and operating infrastructure in fintech, financial services, or other regulated environments /liliStrong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure and/or GCP a plus) /liliExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD /liliStrong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi /liliSolid scripting skills in Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages /liliExperience operating Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms /liliStrong understanding of security, networking, and compliance requirements in regulated environments /liliSelf-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and geographies, demonstrating high-quality and high-touch customer engagement throughout all phases of delivery /liliAbility to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, delivery teams, and client technical stakeholders /liliLanguages: English required; Swiss German, German, French or Italian a plus /liliLocation: Switzerland, with focus on Zurich and Lugano /li /ulh3Nice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications) /h3ulliExperience operating blockchain infrastructure (Bitcoin nodes, Lightning Network, or similar) /liliFamiliarity with distributed systems and blockchain-specific operational requirements /liliExperience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK /liliKnowledge of service mesh, API gateways, or load-balancing technologies /liliRelevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) /liliInterest in progressing into Senior DevOps Engineer or SRE leadership roles /liliGenuine interest in Bitcoin, digital assets, and blockchain-based financial infrastructure /li /ulh3Stay Safe from Job Scams /h3pAll official Blockstream communication will come from an b@ /bbblockstream.com /b email address.
