Subregional Head of Data Center Physical Security (m/f/d)

ph3Job Description /h3h3About the Role /h3pAs Subregional Head of Security, you will lead and execute the security strategy across the subregion, ensuring the protection of Digital Realty's assets, compliance with global standards, and uninterrupted operations. Reporting to the Regional Director of Security, you will act as a key advisor to leadership while managing security operations, risks, and a high-performing team across multiple sites. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliLead and implement security strategy and global policies across the subregion /liliOversee security operations, incident management, and risk mitigation /liliManage and develop Security Managers and external vendors, ensuring strong performance /liliOwn security budgets, vendor selection, and cost optimization /liliEnsure compliance with ISO, SOC2, PCI and other regulatory standards /liliOversee physical security systems (CCTV, access control, biometrics) and site protection /liliLead audits, reporting, and customer-facing security activities /liliDrive continuous improvement of security processes and resilience /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulliProven experience in security leadership across multiple sites or regions /liliStrong expertise in risk management, security operations, and compliance frameworks /liliExperience managing security vendors and outsourced services /liliStrategic mindset combined with hands-on leadership capability /liliExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills /liliFluent in German and English /liliResilient, proactive, and able to operate effectively in a complex matrix organization /li /ulh3A Bit About Us /h3pDigital Realty is the leading provider of carrier and cloud neutral data centre services by delivering the full spectrum of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions.
