Senior Lead - Legal Counsel, Intellectual Property & Brand Protection

ph3In short /h3 pOn is looking for a pragmatic, business-minded lawyer to join our Intellectual Property Team as Senior Lead, Intellectual Property Brand Protection Counsel. In this role, you will play a critical role in proactively protecting On’s trademarks, designs, and innovations. You will thrive here if you can independently manage complex matters, anticipate issues before they elevate, and provide clear, practical advice in a fast-moving global business. /p h3Your Mission /h3 ul liAdvise global and regional teams on a broad range of intellectual property matters, including brand protection, anticounterfeiting, and enforcement. /li liLead global brand protection and anti-counterfeiting investigations and actions efficiently and aligned with business objectives. /li liDevelop and implement enforcement strategies. /li liPartner with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups, conduct trainings and raise IP awareness. /li liBuild scalable processes, playbooks, and guidelines and drive practical solutions that reflect both global priorities and regional requirements. /li liSupport strategic IP projects as needed. /li /ul h3Your story /h3 ul liLaw degree and 7+ years of legal experience, including in-house experience. /li liExperience at a global consumer-facing brand is preferred. /li liStrong commercial judgment, with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives. /li liExcellent negotiation, communication (Fluent English) and analytical skills. /li liAbility to provide clear, practical advice in high-pressure, fast-moving environments. /li liCollaborative style and strong relationship-building skills across diverse teams and stakeholders. /li liProcess-minded and curious, with a track record of improving how legal work gets done. /li liComfortable operating independently, prioritizing effectively and working across unfamiliar legal or business issues. /li /ul h3About the Team /h3 pBeing part of the On Legal Team means working as an entrepreneurial, solutions-oriented partner to the business.
