Within the Integration and Proximity section, you will contribute to designing and developing projects that promote the integration of Swiss and foreign people, strengthen social ties, and implement measures aimed at seniors.

Project Manager at 70%

with the Social Cohesion service.

Your missions

• Design, develop and manage projects in favour of integration and the municipal policy for seniors;
• Identify needs, develop concepts and ensure the operational organisation of projects and events;
• Ensure project follow-up (objectives, planning, resources, budget, partnerships and evaluation);
• Develop and maintain collaborations with institutional, social and cultural partners;
• Participate in network consultation work and contribute to the development of new synergies;
• Coordinate the various stakeholders and seek funding for assigned projects;
• Participate in welcoming and informing the target public as well as communication related to the projects;
• Actively collaborate with section members and contribute to its smooth operation.

Your profile

• Tertiary education at HES level in Social Work or equivalent experience;
• Additional training in project management, combined with proven experience in managing collaborative projects, networking and coordinating partners, ideally in the fields of integration, migration, social cohesion or policies for seniors;
• Good knowledge of policies and systems related to integration and their actors;
• Proficiency in common IT tools;
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written; knowledge of other languages is an asset;
• Autonomous, organised and creative personality, with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team spirit and ease in project management;
• Occasional availability in the evening or at weekends as well as a driving licence.

Salary

According to the City of Sion staff regulations and the Municipality's salary scale.
