A Sector Director at 80%-100%

General Description As part of the evolution of our organisation following the entry into force of the cantonal directive concerning holders of authorisation to operate a preschool care facility, we are looking for abr/br/Sector Director (Permanent contract 80-100%)br/br/responsible for managing an early childhood sector, composed of three preschool care facilities, and subsidised by the City of Geneva. The working conditions are those provided by the collective labour agreement for staff of early childhood care facilities of the City of Geneva.br/br/Your Mission and Responsibilities Directly reporting to the Employer Committee, you ensure the institutional coherence of the sector, compliance with contractual commitments, as well as the smooth running of the facilities and shared services. You maintain the link with the Early Childhood Service and notably with its finance, technical, IT, HR and payroll units. You ensure the strategic, organisational and operational management of the sector. As such, you support and supervise the site management (nurseries or kindergartens), coordinate teams and shared resources, oversee the implementation of the institutional project and guarantee compliance with the objectives set by governance and the funding authority. You supervise administrative, financial and HR activities, lead development projects and provide reporting to the City of Geneva. You support governance bodies in their decision-making and ensure the implementation of strategic orientations in compliance with the legal and contractual framework.br/br/Application Requirements You hold a higher education qualification in a relevant field (management, public administration, human resources, management or equivalent) and have proven experience in organisational management as well as team management. You possess strong skills in leadership, organisation, financial management and human resources. With excellent interpersonal skills, you demonstrate leadership, analytical thinking, decision-making ability and good stress resistance.
