With a drive to move quickly and a commitment to long term partnership, MS Reinsurance supports its partners with the momentum and stability they can build on. /p h3About the role /h3 pAs Investment Manager, you are responsible for the implementation of the firm’s investment strategy across portfolios and mandates, with a focus on portfolio construction, external manager oversight and day-to-day portfolio management. /p pYou operate at the core of the investment process, translating asset allocation decisions into portfolio positioning and investment actions, while ensuring alignment with risk-return objectives, balance sheet considerations and regulatory requirements. /p pIn this role, you act as a key interface between strategy and execution, working closely with Investment Strategy, Risk and Finance, and contributing to investment governance and decision-making. /p h3Your responsibilities /h3 ul liImplement the firm’s investment strategy across assigned asset classes, translating SAA and TAA decisions into portfolio positioning and investment actions. /li liDrive portfolio construction and asset allocation across mandates, balancing risk-return objectives, regulatory requirements and balance sheet considerations. /li liDesign and maintain investment mandates, including guidelines and limits, ensuring strategic, regulatory and risk constraints are embedded in portfolio frameworks. /li liManage the full asset manager lifecycle, including selection, onboarding, oversight and regular review meetings, ensuring alignment with investment objectives and performance expectations. /li liMonitor portfolio performance, exposures and risks, analysing market developments and providing actionable investment insights. /li liExecute and oversee investment transactions, including rebalancing and FX hedging, ensuring timely, efficient and compliant implementation. /li liPrepare recommendations and materials for investment committees, taking ownership of key deliverables and contributing to investment governance. /li liCollaborate closely with external asset managers and internal stakeholders, supporting strategic initiatives and the ongoing enhancement of the investment framework. /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; CFA (or equivalent) is an advantage /li li4 -10 years of experience in investment management, asset management, banking or (re)insurance /li liDeep knowledge across major asset classes (fixed income, equities and alternatives), with the ability to operate across a multi-asset balance sheet; deeper expertise in either liquid or alternative assets is considered an advantage /li liExperience with external asset manager selection, monitoring and mandate governance within a regulated investment environment /li liStrong understanding of financial products, capital markets and investment structures, with the ability to translate market developments into portfolio implications /li liStrong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and stakeholders /li liFluency in English; German is an asset /li /ul h3Why work with us /h3 h3Make your mark with us.
