As part of its development activities, our client, a renowned company in the Biel region specializing in watch production, is looking for a Project Manager for a permanent position.Job DescriptionIn this role, you play a central part in transitioning development projects to series production. You define industrial processes for projects, ensuring their compliance with internal standards, quality requirements, and performance objectives. You analyze production needs, technical constraints, and flow management to propose robust, reliable industrial methods adapted to the watchmaking environment. You participate in the selection of production means, the creation of routings, and the implementation of parameters necessary for the smooth running of production. You are also responsible for analyzing production times and monitoring process performance in terms of cost, quality, and lead time. In this capacity, you contribute to securing industrial objectives and anticipating potential deviations. You monitor pre-series phases to ensure the proper functioning of defined processes, their stability, and their robustness under real production conditions. You identify areas for improvement, drive necessary adjustments, and coordinate corrective actions with the various stakeholders involved. In parallel, you lead and coordinate the teams involved throughout the production phase. You ensure the proper allocation of resources, the prioritization of actions, and the rigorous monitoring of measures to be implemented. You play a true liaison role between technical teams, production, quality, and other relevant departments. Through your actions, you guarantee the industrial consistency of assigned projects, while ensuring structured support until production launch.Profile SoughtYou hold a Technician degree or an equivalent qualification. You have successful experience in a similar function, ideally as a project manager within an industrial environment. You possess very good knowledge of watchmaking mechanics and products. You master the challenges related to process industrialization, production time analysis, and performance monitoring. A good understanding of quality, cost, and lead time constraints is essential for success in this role. You are recognized for your analytical mind, your sense of organization, and your rigor. You know how to manage multiple subjects in parallel, structure your priorities, and advance methodically in an environment where precision is key. Endowed with excellent communication skills, you enjoy teamwork and know how to collaborate with varied stakeholders.
