Police InstructorSécurité Riviera (ASR) is a pioneering regional public safety organization that embodies a form of public action, bringing together several emergency services: Police Riviera, Ambulance Riviera, SDIS Riviera, and Civil Protection. To these areas are added the Management as well as the General Services, which constitute a transversal entity including the Trade Office and the Mobility Office.The ASR currently has 250 employees and nearly 750 partners (Civil Protection and volunteer firefighters) who combine commitment and a sense of service, quality and reliability of actions, proximity, and team spirit on a daily basis in the service of the population. It is in charge of local security in the nine partner municipalities that compose it and covers a catchment area of nearly 90,000 inhabitants.Our Police Service is looking for a Police Instructor to join its ranks. This key position is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training and exercises within the police force. The incumbent also ensures coordination with the various actors of police training at the level of the OPV and plays a central role in the evolution of techniques, equipment, and pedagogical methods. They ensure consistency between affiliated police forces and adjustments according to needs and new OPV directives.Missions and management: develop and supervise the training of ASR instructors, as well as all technical branches for the ASR Police Force.Analysis and update: analyze and update internal service orders related to technical branches, as well as interventions in the Riviera sector.Data management: update training data in dedicated databases.Consulting: act as domain head at the FOCO SOPV level. Study new equipment and formulate proposals for acquisition and implementation.Coordination and support: collaborate with the various ASR services to ensure a coherent and effective approach to training. Provide security support and specific training during major or specific events. Act as a mentor and expert for the federal certificate. Ensure the technical training of aspirants and police officers in training as well as that of coaches.Management: take charge of aspects related to this function.Skills you bring- Federal Police Certificate (Swiss certificate, required).- 8 years of minimum experience in the field in emergency police work and 5 years in the context of police instruction in one or more professional branches.- Federal Certificate of Adult Trainer desired.- In accordance with our legal provisions, this position can only be filled by a Swiss citizen.Required skills- Sense of responsibility and public service ethics.- Adaptability and flexibility.- Marked aptitude for communication, both oral and written.- Mastery of legal frameworks and applicable regulations.- Solid knowledge in the field of police technique and tactics.- Excellent pedagogical skills and mastery of training tools.- Ability to structure training and manage several training projects in parallel, with excellent physical condition and psychological resistance.- Flexibility of schedules and work location according to training needs but also operational necessities.
