Water Service Manager

Your role Reporting to the General Manager, you play a strategic and operational role at the heart of the organisation. Your main responsibilities include: Defining the vision, objectives and priorities of the service, managing budgets, investments and infrastructure renewal. Ensuring the sustainability, quality and performance of the water service by managing suppliers, procurement, billing, safety, relations with municipalities and industry bodies, as well as technological and regulatory monitoring. Uniting and supporting teams by developing skills, cohesion, communication and service organisation. Leading strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives to support the service’s development. Required experience and education Higher technical or engineering education (HES, EPF). Additional training in management, leadership or project management (CAS, MAS, etc.). Proven experience (minimum 3 to 5 years) in a management role, an asset. In-depth knowledge of water networks and mastery of standards, regulations and legal obligations in the field (OFSP, SSIGE, safety). Awareness of budgeting processes and financial management. Experience in project management (coordination, implementation, continuous improvement). Your interpersonal skills Entrepreneurial spirit, participative leadership and ability to unite a team.
