This position is mainly responsible for the global server and storage hardware infrastructure operated in on premise data centers and covers the areas of architecture, design, implementation, operation, monitoring, standardization, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement.br/The position owner is jointly responsible for core IT infrastructure services operated internally and works closely with global IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure reliable and future-oriented infrastructure services. /ph3Your Tasks /h3ulliDesign, build, operate, and continuously improve the global IT infrastructure services with a focus on server, storage, SAN, virtualization, and Active Directory technologies. /liliManage physical and virtual server platforms, storage systems, SAN infrastructure, and related data center IT hardware components. /liliPlan and execute hardware lifecycle activities, including technology refreshes, firmware and driver updates, capacity planning, end-of-life replacements, and coordination with external vendors. /liliProvide second- and third-level support for server, storage, SAN, virtualization, Windows Server, and Active Directory services. /liliAnalyze business and IT requirements and develop secure, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions. /liliEnsure compliance with configuration, security, operational, and documentation standards. /liliAutomate recurring operational tasks using scripting and tooling, especially PowerShell. /liliCollaborate with global IT teams, local IT organizations, and external partners to ensure reliable infrastructure services. /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulliBachelor’s degree, HF degree, or equivalent education in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field. /liliAt least seven to ten years of professional experience in IT system engineering or operations. /liliStrong experience with enterprise server infrastructure, including physical servers, virtualization platforms, and related management tools. /liliVery good knowledge of storage and SAN technologies, including operations, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and lifecycle management. /liliExtensive knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Microsoft infrastructure services. /liliExperience with PowerShell scripting and automation of recurring operational tasks. /liliGood understanding of infrastructure security, including server hardening, patching, privileged access, secure configuration, and monitoring. /liliGood knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity concepts, and Conditional Access. /liliExperience in working with vendors, external service providers, and globally distributed IT teams. /liliStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. /liliVery good written and spoken English skills /li /ulh3Our Offer /h3ullian international working environment with long tradition /liliversatile activity in a future-oriented environment with a lot of self-responsibility /liligood development opportunities and fair employment conditions /lilia motivated team with mutual respect and good cooperation /li /ulpContract type: Unlimited /ppLocation: Winterthur /ppCountry: Switzerland /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
