Will you take up the challenge? /ph3What You'll Be Doing /h3ulliTake ownership of detailed underwriting analyses for Energy accounts, including risk engineering exposures, terms and conditions, pricing, and capacity deployment. /liliAssess key risk exposures, normal loss expectancies, and maximum possible loss scenarios to support sound underwriting decisions. /liliEvaluate and actively manage accumulations, including natural catastrophe exposures, with a strong focus on portfolio quality. /liliNegotiate terms and conditions with brokers and clients, building sustainable solutions that balance client needs with long-term profitability. /liliEnsure underwriting decisions are fully aligned with Helvetia Group directives and governance standards. /liliBuild and deepen your knowledge of the Energy client and broker network, strengthening trusted relationships across the market. /liliRepresent Helvetia at national and international client and broker meetings, site inspections, and selected industry events. /liliContribute to a motivated, agile, and ambitious team that values collaboration, expertise, and entrepreneurial thinking. /liliWork closely with our claims experts on large and complex claims, ensuring a holistic view of risks and client solutions. /li /ulh3What You'll Bring To The Role /h3ulliA university degree, ideally in engineering, natural sciences, business, or a related field; an additional commercial qualification such as an MBA would be an advantage. /liliRelevant experience in Energy underwriting or hands-on expertise from the Energy industry /liliStrong analytical skills combined with a confident approach to negotiation, client engagement, and business development. /liliSound business acumen and a good understanding of Energy insurance markets, trends, and client needs. /liliA proactive mindset, genuine passion for tackling complex challenges, and the ambition to deliver high-quality results. /liliThe ability to build trusted partnerships across teams and departments and to collaborate effectively towards shared goals. /liliA positive, flexible, and team-oriented personality with the ability to thrive in an international and dynamic environment. /liliExcellent English skills; German language skills are highly preferred. /li /ulh3Collaboration that makes a difference /h3pWe believe in genuine collaboration, mutual trust and people who are willing to take responsibility.
