The group has more than 950 employees worldwide, including 120 employees headquartered in Switzerland. /p pWe are looking for a: /p pbProduct Developer – Senior Mechanical Designer RD (M/F/X) – 100% /b /p pRole Summary : /p pAs a Product Developer, you will play a key role in the research, design and development of innovative mechanical equipment. You will contribute to the entire product development lifecycle, from concept generation and detailed mechanical design to prototype validation, industrialization and continuous product improvement. /p pYour role : /p pYou will be an integral part of Dec’s TPS (Technology and Process Support) department. Your key responsibilities will include: /p ul liDeeply understand the technology, products and features of the assigned product area. /li liAnalyse market requirements to develop innovative mechanical solutions, including new products and improvements to existing equipment. /li liLead product development projects from concept generation through prototype manufacturing, assembly, testing and validation. /li liCreate detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings of machine components and assemblies. /li liSelect and specify mechanical and pneumatic components, materials, and manufacturing solutions. /li liPerform engineering calculations, tolerance analyses and mechanical simulations to validate design performance. /li liCollaborate directly with suppliers to source prototype components and resolve technical issues. /li liAnalyse test results, prepare test reports, and implement design improvements to optimize product performance. /li liSupport the transition of new products from prototype to industrial production. /li liCollaborate with cross-functional teams, to drive product development and implementation. /li liProvide technical support for product-related engineering activities and continuous product improvement. /li liVerify product compliance with technical, functional and regulatory requirements. /li /ul pYour profile : /p ul liDegree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification, supported by relevant experience in mechanical product development. /li liProven experience in mechanical design and product development of industrial machinery or equipment. /li liProficiency in 3D CAD software (Inventor or equivalent) and preparation of technical drawings. /li liGood knowledge of machine design, mechanical and pneumatic components, materials and manufacturing processes. /li liExperience performing engineering calculations and mechanical analyses; knowledge of FEM/CAE is an advantage. /li liHands‑on approach to prototype development, testing and continuous product improvement. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive and innovative mindset. /li liAbility to collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams and international subsidiaries. /li liFamiliarity with relevant engineering standards and regulations; knowledge of ATEX, the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and GMP requirements is considered an asset. /li liGood written and spoken English. /li /ul pWe offer : /p pA stable and versatile position in an international and dynamic working environment, continuous learning as well as good salary benefits. /p pStart date: immediately or to be determined. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
