ph3Material Scientist – PCB Materials (m/f/d) /h3 pHuntsman’s Advanced Materials division is looking for a Material Scientist to join our Product Innovation team in Basel, Switzerland. In this role, you will develop advanced materials for printed circuit boards (PCBs) and semiconductor packaging. /p pWe are looking for an experienced scientist with strong knowledge of polymer chemistry, thermoset systems and formulation development. This is an opportunity to help create materials that support the future of electronics technology. /p h3Role Responsibilities /h3 ul liIdentifying innovation opportunities for high-performance polymeric materials used in PCB applications. /li liDesigning thermoset polymer formulations, creating prototypes and improving material designs based on test results and customer feedback. /li liPerforming proof-of-concept assessments, analysing experimental data, maintaining electronic laboratory records and preparing technical reports. /li liMonitoring industry trends and identifying opportunities for intellectual property and product differentiation, including with AI-assisted tools. /li liCollaborating with cross-functional teams, customers and external partners to accelerate product development and commercialization. /li liEnsuring compliance with Environment, Health Safety, Ethics Compliance and International Trade requirements. /li /ul h3Experience And Competencies /h3 pWe are looking for experienced candidates with a strong research and development background in polymeric materials for electronics applications. /p h3What We Are Looking For /h3 ul liPhD in Materials Science, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field. /li liMinimum of 3 years of experience in materials research and development. /li liStrong knowledge of polymer chemistry and physics, especially thermoset systems and inorganic-filled formulations. /li liSolid understanding of PCB manufacturing, electronic materials and semiconductor packaging technologies. /li liHands-on experience in formulation development and materials characterization. /li liExperience with materials modelling and data analysis would be an advantage. /li liCurious, innovative and self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset. /li liEffective written and verbal communication skills in English. /li /ul h3About Us /h3 pAt Huntsman, we pride ourselves on being a people-oriented organization. /p pOur family-like atmosphere is cultivated by our diverse groups of team members around the world. /p pWe welcome the talent, experience and fresh ideas that employees at all stages of their careers, from interns to seasoned professionals, bring to Huntsman. /p pIn return, we offer you the opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic, industry-leading company, where safety and ethics always come first. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
