With your help we want to take our first product NeuroLF to the markets! /ph3FPGA and Firmware Engineer - RD /h3pWe are looking for an FPGA and Firmware Engineer, who will contribute to the development of our electronics designs in NeuroLF - our clinical Positron Emission Tomography system. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and testing of FPGA and electronics architecture in our nuclear medical imaging devices. You help build complex medical products while ensuring high quality, reliability, safety for patients, and maintainability. /ph3Responsibilities include: /h3pDevelopment of FPGA and firmware solutions for nuclear medical devices, comprising light detection sensors, high-speed networking interfaces (Ethernet), data acquisition and processing, power / bias supply distribution, serial interfaces. /pulliDevelop and optimize VHDL modules for real-time high-speed data acquisition /liliImplement high-throughput DSP algorithms for pulse processing and gamma-ray event detection. /liliDevelop application firmware for SoC such as Xilinx Zynq /liliDesign and execute unit and component tests in simulation environments to validate timing and logic. /liliReview of multilayer PCB design development (experience with Altium Designer is preferred) for EMC /liliSupport to assembly, testing and troubleshooting of parts and final products in laboratory (use of oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyser, etc.) /liliTechnical design, development, and documentation in accordance with medical device regulations (IEC 60601-1, ISO 13485, IEC 62304) /li /ulh3Preferred qualifications: /h3ulli5+ years experience /liliMaster degree or higher /liliExperience in regulated industry is a plus /li /ulh3We offer: /h3pA job with a purpose, support for continuing professional training, a dynamic work environment, public transport benefits, an excellent pension fund plan, the opportunity to become part of a young and ambitious team, a chance to leverage your experience, bring in your own ideas, and a base in the heart of Zurich (Technopark)! /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
