As a bProduct Manager /b within the team you will be responsible for profitable growth of your product line driving and contributing return on investment for bABB /b b’ /bbs Power Protection business /b. You will be part of the DC UPS strategy to market covering specific UPS product lines ensuring ABB has a full understanding of market requirements and transforming those requirements into offer specifications and development activities. /ppYou will also showcase your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities a: supporting development, value propositions developments, driving successful launches, managing product maintenance, pricing, and profitability —while meeting aggressive cost-per-kW targets and sustainability commitments. br / /ppThe role is a Global role with no intention for relocation, the designated locations are where Critical Power have manufacturing units and hence are of a preference, although all candidates are welcome to apply and will be considered. /p pThe work model for the role is: Hybrid and the preferred location of hire is Europe or US /pbr /bYour role and responsibilities /bulliUnderstanding and following global standards, market and customer requirements, and their impact on the current offer portfolio. /liliConducting valuation of market size and trends, competitor benchmarking (including reverse-costing), and identifying offering gaps to strengthen ABB’s market standing. /liliCollaborate within the team and other Electrification teams in regards of DC developments and align products with technical standards to ensure a succesful DC UPS development. /liliManaging technical specifications for assigned products and supporting business cases for new developments, cost reduction, and lifecycle transitions. /liliDriving design-to-cost initiatives to achieve low kW targets without compromising quality or compliance. /liliCoordinating IEC/UL certification pathways, sustainability deliverables (EPDs, circularity), and preconfigured solution codes for priority regions. /liliDrive go-to-market activities, including product launches and brand positioning together with other global functions including sales enablement, customer success, training, support, and product expertise where needed. /liliDrive pricing models and be adept at working with templates, thereby achieve target profitability. /li /ul pbQualifications for the role /b /p /ppulliDegree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration (or equivalent). /liliYou are highly skilled in bAgile methodologies and product managemen /bt. bUnderstanding of High power / DC technologies within product management /bare considered an advantage. /liliAbility to demonstrate b5+ years of experience in product managemen /bt. bGate model experience, /b stakeholder management and collaboration capabilities together with global functions as Sales, Operations, Service for product success /liliPrevious experience with an adjacent topic to DC technologies / products /solutions are nice-to-have /liliPossess advanced knowledge of bPLM tools, SAP, and MS Office Suite /b; familiarity with bcost modeling and competitor benchmarking /b is a plus. /liliFluent in English; additional languages are an advantage for APAC engagement. /liliAbility to travel internationally as required. /li /ul /p p Building a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
