Job Summary

The Cash Manager position is responsible for managing the Group's day-to-day cash and liquidity activities, ensuring efficient funding, cash concentration and banking operations. The role is accountable for optimizing liquidity, supporting working capital management, executing treasury transactions, and maintaining strong banking relationships while ensuring compliance with treasury policies and internal controls.

Working closely with regional Finance teams, Accounting, Tax, Legal, IT, Shared Services and external banking partners, the Cash Manager drives efficient treasury operations and continuous process improvements. The role offers a high degree of autonomy and ownership, with end-to-end responsibility for cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, cash pooling, bank account management, KYC, and intercompany netting. As the operational lead for global cash management, the position drives automation, operational excellence, and a strong control environment across the treasury function.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Cash & Liquidity Management

• Own the Group's global liquidity position, ensuring optimal funding and efficient deployment of cash across the organization.

• Provide strategic oversight of affiliate liquidity and cash concentration.

• Lead initiatives to optimize working capital, liquidity utilization, and cash efficiency, partnering with Finance, Operations, and regional leadership.

• Challenge and validate short-term liquidity forecasts submitted by Group entities, enhancing forecast accuracy, transparency, and decision-making through robust analysis and engagement with regional stakeholders.

• Define, govern, and continuously enhance the Group's global cash pooling and liquidity management structures, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and alignment with the Group's treasury strategy.

Treasury Operations

• Execute and oversee treasury operations, including treasury transactions, intercompany funding and netting activities.

• Coordinate treasury cash flows and support accurate financial reporting and period-end activities.

• Drive continuous improvement of treasury operational processes and controls.

Banking & Treasury Infrastructure

• Manage the Group's global bank account portfolio, including maintenance and rationalization.

• Maintain bank account connectivity between SAP, Treasury Management System (ITS), SWIFT/FIDES, and electronic banking platforms.

• Administer electronic banking users, mandates, and access rights in accordance with internal controls.

• Coordinate Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation and periodic bank reviews for all Group entities.

• Maintain strong relationships with banking partners and support service improvements.

• Manage TMS operations and support treasury technology and system enhancements.

• Drive automation, standardization and continuous improvement across treasury processes.

• Maintain treasury procedures and ensure compliance with treasury policies.

Stakeholder Management

• Build effective relationships with Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Legal, IT, Shared Services, and regional finance teams.

• Support strategic treasury initiatives and ad hoc projects as required by the Head of Group Treasury.

• Act as deputy for selected treasury operational activities to ensure business continuity.

Professional Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.

• Professional Treasury qualification (ACT, CTP or equivalent) is considered an advantage.

Work Experience

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Corporate Treasury, Cash Management or Treasury Operations within a multinational organization.

• Experience managing enterprise-wide cash management and liquidity activities across multiple legal entities.

• Experience working with global banking partners and collaborating across Finance and other business functions.

• Experience leading or supporting treasury transformation, process improvement or treasury technology initiatives.

Technical / Language Skills

• Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity forecasting, cash pooling and working capital management.

• Experience with bank account management, SWIFT/ISO 20022 standards, electronic banking platforms, and treasury payments

• Good understanding of treasury operations, treasury accounting, intercompany funding and intercompany netting.

• Knowledge of global banking operations, bank account management, KYC requirements and treasury controls.

• Proficiency with Treasury Management Systems (ION ITS preferred), SAP and electronic banking platforms.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.

• Knowledge of SWIFT/FIDES connectivity and electronic payment processes.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional regional languages are an asset.
