About our clientOur client is a well-established international investment firm headquartered in Switzerland with an expanding global presence. They are seeking an experienced and hands‑on CFO to join the leadership team, strengthen the finance function and help drive the business through its next phase of growth. The role is based in the Zurich area, Switzerland.What the job involvesAs CFO, you will be a key member of the leadership team, partnering closely with the management to drive the company's financial strategy and support its next phase of growth. This is a hands‑on leadership role with responsibility for developing a scalable finance function, improving reporting and controls and providing strategic financial guidance across an international, multi‑entity business.Act as a strategic business partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, supporting the company's long‑term growth agendaLead the firm's financial strategy, planning, budgeting and forecasting processesOversee all finance operations, including accounting, consolidation, management reporting and financial controlsDeliver timely financial reporting, KPI dashboards and commercial insights to support strategic decision‑makingDrive the continued professionalisation of the finance function, improving systems, processes and governance frameworksManage cash flow, liquidity, capital planning and overall financial performanceLead external audit processes and manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks and other external stakeholdersEnsure compliance with relevant financial, tax and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictionsBuild, develop and lead a high‑performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvementPartner closely with senior stakeholders across the business to support operational excellence and future growth initiativesWho we are looking forDegree in finance, accounting, economics or a related fieldProven experience as a CFO (or equivalent senior finance leader) within a multi‑billion AUM private markets or asset management platformStrong expertise in financial planning, accounting, group reporting, internal controls and governance across a complex, international, multi‑entity organisationTrack record of building and scaling finance functions while driving process improvements and operational excellenceHands‑on, commercially minded and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environmentStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership and the boardFluent English is essential; German is a strong advantage #J-18808-Ljbffr
