Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering Technical Projects and working closely with cross-functional teams, your mission is to lead and continuously improve the site's Safety and Environment programs. This role combines hands-on operational activities and strategic leadership. /p pbr/Your main responsibilities are as follows: /p ul liLead and deploy the site's Safety and Environment strategy, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ISO 14001/45001 standards /li liManage and continuously improve the site's prevention programs by fostering a strong safety culture across the organization and supporting managers in fulfilling their responsibilities in this matter /li liConduct safety and environmental inspections, coordinate internal and external audits, and act as the main point of contact with regulatory authorities /li liMonitor regulatory developments, assess their impact on site operations, and ensure implementation of required compliance measures /li liOrganize and facilitate Safety Environment Committees, coordinate action plans, and track progress through relevant KPIs /li liPlan, coordinate and deliver training programs, promoting employee awareness and engagement in safety and environmental matters /li liInvestigate incidents, accidents and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce risks /li liCoordinate Safety Environment aspects of engineering projects and support emergency preparedness and response activities across the site /li liDevelop and maintain Safety Environment communication initiatives, including newsletters, intranet content, digital displays and awareness campaigns /li liMaintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, professional networks, service providers and local authorities to ensure best practices and regulatory alignmentbr/ /li /ul pTo carry out this mission, we are looking for a candidate with the following profile: /p ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health Safety, or a related field /li liMandatory certification as a Safety Officer or Safety Engineer in accordance with the CFST Directive (or equivalent recognized qualification) /li liMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a Safety Environment management role within a manufacturing or process-oriented industrial environment; pharmaceutical industry experience an asset /li liStrong knowledge of environmental and occupational safety regulations and management systems, particularly ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 /li liProven experience in conducting Safety Environment audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations /li liNative or fully fluent French proficiency, with a good command of English, both written and spoken /li /ul pYou are a proactive and collaborative professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
