This is an opportunity to work on next-generation systems where performance, reliability, and engineering excellence are critical. /p pAs part of the Product Development team, you will take ownership of the complete development lifecycle of mechanical assemblies and structures. /p pYour responsibilities will include: /p ul li pDesigning, developing, testing, optimizing, and integrating highly reliable and cost-effective mechanical structures and enclosures for phased-array antenna systems. /p /li li pDefining requirements, architecture, and mechanical concepts from early-stage design through production release. /p /li li pSelecting materials suitable for extreme operating environments. /p /li li pCreating and maintaining 3D CAD models and detailed engineering documentation. /p /li li pManaging prototype build, testing, validation, and industrialization activities. /p /li li pConducting structural, thermal, and vibration analyses to ensure compliance with airborne and space qualification requirements. /p /li li pCollaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams including Systems, RF, Electronics, Software, Manufacturing, and external partners. /p /li li pSupporting design verification, manufacturing, integration, and product qualification activities. /p /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 pWe are looking for a hands-on engineer with a strong background in high-reliability product development environments. /p h3Essential Requirements /h3 ul li p10+ years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering. /p /li li pExperience in highly regulated or demanding industries such as: /p ul li pAerospace /p /li li pSpace /p /li li pAutomotive /p /li li pMedical Devices /p /li /ul /li li pStrong expertise with 3D CAD tools, ideally: /p ul li pSolidWorks /p /li li pCATIA /p /li /ul /li li pProven experience with: /p ul li pTolerance analysis and GDT /p /li li pStructural design /p /li li pThermal considerations /p /li li pVibration analysis /p /li li pLightweight high-reliability assemblies /p /li /ul /li li pExperience selecting materials for harsh environments including: /p ul li pTemperature extremes /p /li li pVacuum /p /li li pShock /p /li li pVibration /p /li /ul /li li pStrong knowledge of: /p ul li pDesign verification /p /li li pPrototype development /p /li li pFEA / simulation /p /li li pManufacturing documentation /p /li li pProduction release processes /p /li /ul /li li pFamiliarity with: /p ul li pDesign for Manufacturing (DFM) /p /li li pDesign for Assembly (DFA) /p /li li pDesign for Testability (DFT) /p /li li pQuality by Design principles /p /li /ul /li li pComfortable working in laboratory and integration environments. /p /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul li pStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset. /p /li li pOrganized, proactive, and detail-oriented. /p /li li pAbility to manage multiple technical activities simultaneously. /p /li li pTeam player with excellent communication skills. /p /li li pFluent English (written and spoken) /p /li /ul h2Location /h2 p Lausanne, Switzerland /p
