Hier kannst du mithelfen, das Bild von RUAG mitzugestalten und nachhaltig zu prägen. /h3pSystem Engineer – Tactical Datalinks / Link 16 /pp100 /ppAlpnach /ph3Das kannst du bewegen /h3ulliPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, fault diagnosis and corrective actions on Link16 ground system, MIDS units and associated ICT equipment. /liliLead root-cause analysis for hardware, software, radio communication, networking, timing, interoperability and system performance issues /liliDefine corrective actions and coordinate technical solutions with suppliers, OEMs, subcontractors and internal engineering teams. /liliCarry out system engineering activities related to operation, maintenance, upgrades, configuration management, obsolescence management and lifecycle support /liliIntegrate new or upgraded datalink components into ground platforms, test environments and command-and-control systems /liliMaintain system configuration baselines, manage part-level and system-level obsolescence and support lifecycle upgrades to ensure continued operational availability and compliance with STANAG5516 / MIL-STD-6016 /liliSupport firmware/software upgrades, hardware modifications, security patches, capability enhancements and integration activities /liliParticipate in occasional trips abroad for supplier meetings, joint test campaigns, technical coordination or specialised training /li /ulh3Das bringst du mit /h3ulliMaster's degree preferred in telecommunications, communications engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering /liliMinimum bachelor's degree in one of the above fields, combined with 5+ years of relevant professional experience /liliBackground in telecommunications, ideally including radio communication, data transmission, secure communications, networking, RF systems or tactical communication systems /liliExperience in maintenance, system support, integration, verification, validation, troubleshooting or lifecycle management of complex technical systems /liliExperience in ICT system administration on linux and/or windows systems. /liliInterest in or knowledge of tactical datalinks, especially Link 16, MIDS, STANAG 5516, MIL-STD-6016, J-series messages, tactical networking, interoperability or secure military communications /liliExperience in avionics, defense systems, aerospace systems, C2/C4I/C5I systems or mission-critical communication systems is an advantage /liliAbility to analyse faults, isolate root causes, define corrective actions and document technical findings /liliStructured, reliable, analytical and solution-oriented working style /liliStrong documentation skills and ability to work in a regulated, security-sensitive environment /liliFluent German and English, both spoken and written; French is a plus /liliWillingness to travel regularly within Switzerland and occasionally abroad /liliSwiss citizenship is required, and the candidate must be eligible for a Swiss security clearance. /li /ulpWir sind stets auf der Suche nach talentierten und motivierten Personen, die unser Team bereichern möchten.
