In this role, you will lead the technical planning and execution of gas-insulated switchgear projects and ensure that engineering deliverables are completed on time, within scope and according to the required quality standards. /ppbHow you will make an impact /b /ppPlan and manage the Primary Engineering scope in GIS customer projects, including cost, schedule and scope of delivery /ppCoordinate technical solutions with customers and internal stakeholders /ppPrepare the technical detailing of the high-voltage part of gas-insulated switchgear /ppCreate the required documentation for ordering, fabrication, assembly and customer approval /ppOrder and configure project-specific material /ppManage technical communication channels internally and externally /ppWork on quality cases and support improvement processes /ppProvide technical support during manufacturing, installation and commissioning until completion of on-site assembly /ppTravel occasionally for customer meetings or site visits /ppbYour background /b /ppBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field /ppSeveral years of relevant experience in project engineering, ideally with gas-insulated switchgear or high-voltage systems /ppGood understanding of engineering project execution, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, documentation and material ordering /ppExperience with CAD tools such as Creo or AutoCAD, as well as SAP and Microsoft Office /ppStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, clarify technical issues and drive solutions /ppExperience in coordinating internal and external stakeholders in an international environment /ppAbility to work effectively within an international team environment and collaborate with other departments /ppClear and structured communication skills, with confidence in technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders /ppFluent in English; German or another language is an advantage /ppbMore about us /b /ppOur flexible working practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow. /ppWe are a global leader in electrification, powering the electricity era to meet the energy demands of today, and the next 25 years.
