Our teams develop and manufacture opto-electronic components and laser diodes for industrial, optical data transmission, life science, and high-precision applications, combining strong in-house RD with state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing in an engineering-led culture. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop, implement and optimize advanced DUV photolithography processes, including resist processing, exposure and pattern definition. /li liLead the development and qualification of new lithography processes, including definition of process windows, stability and reproducibility. /li liSupport the setup, commissioning and process qualification of new lithography equipment and track systems. /li liDefine and continuously improve lithography process flows in close collaboration with Process Integration and RD. /li liPerform process characterization, Design of Experiments (DOE) studies and data analysis to establish robust and high-yield processes. /li liDrive problem solving and root cause analysis during process introduction and ramp-up. /li liCollaborate closely with internal reference sites to transfer knowledge and align with proven process implementations. /li liAct as technical driver for lithography process build-up and contribute to establishing internal expertise in this field. /li liInterface with equipment suppliers to support process development, troubleshooting and optimization. /li liCoordinate with engineering, metrology, facility and manufacturing teams to ensure successful process introduction, including the application of metrology methods (e.g. CD-SEM) to monitor, control and optimize lithography processes. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster's or PhD's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Technology, Microtechnology, or related field. /li liSeveral years of experience in semiconductors, photonics, MEMS, or advanced manufacturing environments. /li /ul h3Additional Skills and Requirements /h3 ul liStrong experience in lithography process development and manufacturing support. /li liExperience with advanced lithography systems, preferably steppers or scanners. /li liDemonstrated experience leading equipment installations, qualifications, or technology transfer projects. /li liExperience with process characterization, DOE, statistical analysis, and process control methodologies. /li liStrong technical leadership and problem-solving skills. /li liExcellent project management and organizational capabilities. /li liAbility to work effectively across global and cross-functional teams. /li liStrong communication and stakeholder management skills. /li liData-driven approach to process development and decision-making. /li liSelf-motivated, proactive, and capable of driving complex projects independently. /li liVery good written and spoken English and German skills. /li /ul h3About Us /h3 pCoherent is a global leader in lasers, engineered materials and networking components.
