ph3The Position /h3 pAt Roche, the Global Diagnostics Procurement (DOP) team consists of about 200 professionals dedicated to sourcing, managing, and digitizing supplier relationships worldwide. As a high-performing, world‑class Procurement team, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact. /p h3About Our Team /h3 pWe drive value with our suppliers across the globe, developing and executing category strategies and continuously digitizing processes to support sustainable business growth. /p h3The Opportunity /h3 pAre you ready to lead the Global Program for complex Localization Initiatives within Global Diagnostics Procurement? As our Procurement Global Program Lead—primarily based in Suzhou, China, with flexibility for Rotkreuz, Switzerland—you will be accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery of strategic business insights and impact for our global organization. /p ul liReporting Line: Reports directly to the Head of Delivery /li liWider Team Stakeholders: Works closely with global, regional, and local stakeholders to represent Direct Procurement in pertinent leadership teams and projects /li liRole Type: A matrix leadership role managing a global program, driving cross‑functional collaboration and strategic change /li liImpact: You will drive the Procurement strategy by effectively managing the resources, tools, and processes for assigned global change initiatives. Specifically, you are accountable for: /li ul liStrategic Business Alignment: Partnering with stakeholders to translate business strategies into actionable program requirements /li liLocalization Implementation: Leading the socialization and execution of critical projects, ensuring that local and network procurement teams have the necessary guidance and support /li liGovernance Process Excellence: Establishing robust governance, driving implementation/execution process harmonization, and ensuring the continuous improvement of quality, efficiency, and effectiveness /li liRisk Issue Resolution: Managing risk and leading resolution of program design/implementation issues with an end‑to‑end mindset /li liBudget Documentation: Managing program budgets and defining the knowledge‑sharing framework for global processes from a Procurement perspective /li /ul /ul h3Who you are /h3 ul liEducation: A University Master’s degree is required, with a focus in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or Life Sciences being highly preferable /li liExperience: 15+ years of overall business experience, including working within a regulated industry for regulated categories; combined with 10+ years of in‑depth procurement experience with extensive knowledge of operational and transactional procurement /li liLeadership Mastery: Demonstrated success in leading global cross‑functional program teams and documented experience in leading value improvement programs at a global level /li liProcurement Change Expertise: Proven capability in negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management; strong change management and process improvement skills, with direct experience delivering complex business process or organizational changes /li liAI Digitalization: A strong affinity to explore AI‑driven solutions for digital transformation of operations and encouragement of advanced AI knowledge within the team /li liCommunication: Excellent communication, teaching, and project management skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to different audiences, set priorities, direct teams, and deliver complex strategic initiatives /li liLanguages: Business‑level fluency in English is required; fluency in the local site language is desirable /li liTravel: Frequent global travel (up to 20%) to suppliers and Diagnostics sites is required /li /ul pbRoche is an Equal Opportunity Employer. /b /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
