To strengthen our team in Global IT, we are looking for a dedicated IT Cloud Engineer (a), 80-100%. /p h3Your tasks /h3 ul liManage and maintain cloud operations in alignment with security, compliance, and company policies. /li liDesign, build, and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, AWS Code Pipeline, and Jenkins. /li liDevelop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. /li liEnforce cloud engineering standards through governance, peer reviews, and best practices. /li liImplement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure system reliability and performance. /li liAutomate operational processes, including patching, backup validation, and compliance checks. /li liCollaborate with application owners, IT teams, and the CISO organization to meet business and regulatory requirements. /li liSupport change management processes, including CAB participation and technical documentation. /li liProvide technical leadership, mentoring, and contribute to cloud governance standards, policies, and operational runbooks. /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. /li li3+ years of hands‑on AWS cloud engineering experience in a production environment. /li liExperience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices). /li liStrong skills in Infrastructure-as-Code (preferably Terraform) and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell). /li liSolid knowledge of AWS security services and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF). /li liAWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or higher) or equivalent expertise. /li liExperience with DevOps and cloud‑native technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and CI/CD practices. /li liKnowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, and hybrid/multi‑cloud environments. /li liAdditional advantages: AWS DevOps/Security certifications, AWS Bedrock, Veeva Vault or validated systems, NIS2 knowledge skills. /li liFluent in English, German is a plus. /li /ul h3Our offer /h3 ul liA dynamic and rapidly growing work environment with internal development and training opportunities. /li liFlexible working hours with home office days and an option for obtaining additional vacation days through workload reduction. /li liCompany‑run daycare center on the Bachem Campus in Bubendorf. /li li60% coverage of pension fund contributions by Bachem AG as well as an option for extra‑mandatory pension provision with our Pension Plan Plus. /li liAccess to benefits platforms with discounts from external partners. /li liFresh, healthy and varied food in our staff restaurant. /li liA wide range of free sports activities on the Bachem Campus. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
