It is a role for someone who wants to be at the technological core, driving the energy systems that make advanced hearing AI truly come alive. /p p. /p pbMore about the role /b /p liDesign, develop, and optimize battery and power management systems for hearing instruments and charging solutions /li liSpecify, integrate, and validate power management circuits for rechargeable and non-rechargeable battery systems /li liEvaluate, specify, integrate, and optimize Power Management ICs (PMICs) and related power conversion architectures for future hearing instruments and charging systems /li liDefine and implement battery management algorithms and power strategies, including State of Charge and State of Health estimation, charging behavior, protection mechanisms, and energy optimization /li liCollaborate closely with hardware and firmware teams to ensure robust integration of battery and power management functions into the overall hearing instrument and charger architecture /li liDevelop and validate electrical and system-level models for power consumption, load profiles, and battery behavior under different operating conditions /li liAnalyze and debug complex power-related system issues, driving root-cause identification and resolution /li liContribute to the continuous improvement of power management platforms, methods, and development processes, and stay informed about emerging technologies and trends /li liEvaluate emerging power management technologies and energy management concepts to support future product generations /li pbMore about you /b /p liMaster’s degree or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field /li liProven experience in the design of power management systems for low-power embedded devices, including DC/DC conversion, load switches, charging circuits, and energy-efficient architectures /li liExperience with rechargeable and non-rechargeable battery technologies, as well as a strong understanding of system-level behavior, load profiling, power consumption analysis, and battery aging effects /li liHands-on experience with electrical characterization, laboratory measurements, and data-driven validation of power systems /li liStrong programming skills in Python for data analysis, automation, and model development; MATLAB is a plus /li liExperience in optimizing ultra-low-power systems under strict energy and size constraints is an asset /li liExperience in debugging complex power-related issues in low-power applications and charging systems is an asset /li liStructured, proactive, and quality-conscious working style, with the ability to bring forward innovative ideas and collaborate effectively in a distributed, diverse environment /li liFluent in English (spoken and written) /li pbMore about what we offer /b /p pAs one of the world’s leading hearing care providers headquartered in Switzerland, we’re committed to building an inclusive culture.
