StellenbeschreibungppThis role is being managed exclusively by HYTE on a retained basis /p pDirect applications and confidential enquiries are welcomed. /p pHYTE is supporting an innovative unmanned aviation company at the forefront of aerial intelligence and drone technology. /p pThe organisation is developing and operating advanced UAV systems, working closely with regulatory authorities to deliver certified, safe and scalable operations across complex environments. /p pAs part of its continued growth, the company is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to support and drive flight test activities, compliance verification and certification efforts under EASA frameworks. /p pThis is a highly hands‑on role, requiring someone who can operate across engineering, operations and regulatory domains, while building structure and processes in a fast‑evolving environment. /p ul liDevelop and maintain flight test procedures, test cards and risk assessments aligned with engineering and safety requirements /li liPlan and monitor flight and ground test campaigns, ensuring traceability to requirements and certification objectives /li liPrepare test reports and compliance documentation suitable for EASA, FAA and other regulatory authorities /li liSupport SORA and SAIL activities, including operational risk assessments and contingency validation /li liCoordinate closely with systems, avionics and mechanical teams to ensure alignment with programme‑level goals /li liMaintain configuration control, data integrity and high documentation standards throughout testing activities /li liSupport engagement with authorities, including responding to findings and providing compliance evidence /li liPrepare flight test orders and ensure readiness across pilots, operators, ground crew and engineering teams /li liAct as Telemetry Controller during test campaigns, monitoring real‑time data and supporting mission execution /li liDegree in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Systems Engineering (or equivalent) /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in aerospace test engineering, with a focus on compliance verification /li liStrong understanding of flight mechanics, avionics and systems integration /li liExperience defining and executing test plans and delivering certification documentation /li liSolid knowledge of EASA certification frameworks and SORA / SAIL processes /li liExperience in flight test planning, safety processes, telemetry and instrumentation /li liStrong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate test results into compliance evidence /li liAbility to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders /li liExperience with UAV flight testing under EASA oversight /li liKnowledge of data analysis tools such as Python or MATLAB /li liExperience with certification frameworks across EASA, FAA or similar /li liBackground in safety assessments such as FHA, PSSA, FMEA or FTA /li liExperience supporting audits or working directly with regulatory authorities /li liHands‑on experience with SIL/HIL environments, ground control stations or payload integration /li liFamiliarity with Jira and Confluence /li liGerman language skills (B2 or above) /li /ul h3Take your career to new HYTEs /h3 ul liOpportunity to join a company shaping the future of unmanned aviation /li liWork on cutting‑edge UAV systems within a highly regulated and technically challenging environment /li liHigh level of ownership and involvement across flight testing and certification activities /li liCollaborative, international team with strong engineering focus /li liFlexible working environment with exposure to real‑world flight operations /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
