ppOur customer is a leading high-tech company specializing in the development, design, production and service of advanced turbomachinery and compression systems in Zürich.br/For the System Engineering Division, we are looking for a new team member as an bElectrical Engineer (m/f/d) /bbr/As an Electrical Engineer within the Systems Engineering team, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and commissioning of electrical power supply systems for industrial turbocompressor plants, including installations in hazardous (Ex) environments.br/You will serve as the technical expert for low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient project execution from the proposal phase through commissioning. Working closely with customers, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will contribute to the successful delivery of complex international projects while driving technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.br/ /ph3Tasks Responsibilities: /h3 ul liLow-voltage systems: Execution of low-voltage switchgear systems and cable installations for control and auxiliary systems. /li liMedium-voltage systems: Responsibility for cable sizing and installation planning between the major components of the main drive system. /li liActing as a specialist in industrial electrical installations in both low- and medium-voltage environments, contributing a multidisciplinary understanding across engineering disciplines. /li liProject Execution: Support during the proposal phase, planning, specification, and execution of new plant construction projects. /li liProcurement: Sourcing electrical system components in collaboration with the procurement department. /li liCustomer and Supplier Management: Providing technical consultation and support throughout the entire project lifecycle. /li liAcceptance Testing of System Components: Conducting inspections and acceptance tests at supplier facilities. /li liTesting and Commissioning: Participating in and supervising test runs, supporting commissioning activities, and performing troubleshooting. /li liMeetings and Coordination: Participating in meetings with customers and suppliers, either on-site or remotely. /li liInterface Management: Coordinating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders as well as customers. /li /ul h3Your profile: /h3 ul liCompleted vocational training in the electrical field and a completed degree in Electrical Engineering (University of Applied Sciences FH or ETH /li liAt least 5 years of experience in industrial plant engineering/construction. /li liExperience in the design and engineering of switchgear systems, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and the planning of electrical installations in industrial plant construction. /li liAt least 3 years of experience with ATEX/IECEx standards; knowledge of NEC is an advantage. /li liAbility to perform tasks independently with a high level of personal responsibility. /li liIn-depth knowledge of low- and medium-voltage standards and regulations. /li liKnowledge of the following tools and IT systems is an advantage: MS Office; SAP and COMOS /li liExperience in the execution and delivery of international projects. /li liWillingness to travel nationally and internationally for inspections and acceptance tests (approximately 10-20%) /li liBusiness-fluent German and English, both written and spoken /li /ul h3General Information: /h3 ul liStart date: asap /li liPlanned duration: 12 months /li liWorkplace: Zürich /li liWorkload:100% /li liTraveling: 10-20% /li liTemporary contract with the potential for extension or permanent employment. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
