To learn more, follow this link.Missions- You are responsible for the Middle Ages and Building Archaeology sector of the SAEF and contribute, with the other sector heads and management, to ensuring the missions of the service.- You coordinate the census, protection, safeguarding, analysis, study, archiving, publication, and promotion of the archaeological cultural property concerned and carry out tasks and projects.- You regularly manage several tasks and projects in parallel.- You manage the sector from a managerial point of view, you prioritize and direct activities, and you report on and publicly represent your field of activity.- You ensure, with the scientific manager who will be subsequently subordinate to you and who will ensure the scientific direction and support, that the mission of the sector is balanced.- You set up and maintain the framework conditions for the functioning of your sector and the personnel assigned to it, while taking into account the needs of the service.Desired profile- You hold a master's degree in archaeology, a federal certificate of archaeological excavation technician, or an equivalent qualification.- You quickly grasp the issues of safeguarding the medieval archaeological and building heritage of the canton.- You benefit from excellent references in the management and direction of preventive archaeology, the processes of which you master, ideally also in the field.- Through your experience, your skills, and your knowledge, you are able to direct and carry out impact studies, preventive excavations, and archaeological reports leading to studies and publications.- You possess proven managerial and team management skills.- You are comfortable in communication and in relationships with the staff of your sector, the service, or with external interlocutors.- You are solution-oriented, dynamic, and enjoy working in a team.- You are committed to maintaining a serene working environment.- Your professional network allows you to interact and communicate with specialists in your field of activity.- You master the methods, instruments, and usual tools, analog and digital, implemented in the field of activity.- You benefit from good linguistic skills and great ease in writing; you are a native French or German speaker with a good command of the other language.- You hold a driver's license. jidffd94fdaen jit0832aen jpiy26aen
