Stellenbeschreibungph3About The Role /h3 pThe role is a hands-on marketing automation technology leadership position responsible for shaping the future of CRM, loyalty, lifecycle marketing, campaign automation, and customer engagement across Europe. Based in Europe, you will lead the evolution of Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities while supporting the existing ExactTarget environment and driving the adoption of next-generation technologies, including Marketing Cloud Next/Advanced, AI-enabled marketing, customer journey orchestration, personalization, and customer data activation. Working closely with the global marketing automation team in the US, you will bridge day-to-day platform operations with long-term architecture, ensuring solutions are scalable, localized for multiple European markets, aligned with the global digital platform strategy, and capable of supporting future business growth. /p h3What You'll Do /h3 ul liDefine and execute the European marketing automation technology roadmap in partnership with global digital platform and regional CRM teams. /li liDesign, build, and optimize marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, customer journeys, segmentation, personalization, SQL, APIs, and integrations. /li liSupport and enhance the existing Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (ExactTarget) platform while identifying opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve operational efficiency. /li liEvaluate, pilot, and implement Marketing Cloud Next/Advanced, AI-enabled marketing capabilities, and customer data activation initiatives. /li liDevelop scalable localization frameworks for multi-country campaigns, including language, content, consent, currency, and reporting standards. /li liEstablish governance, technical standards, reusable templates, and best practices to ensure quality, compliance, and global scalability. /li liDrive AI-assisted improvements across campaign creation, quality assurance, delivery speed, and operational efficiency while balancing automation with appropriate human oversight. /li /ul h3What You'll Bring /h3 ul li7+ years of experience in marketing automation, CRM, or digital marketing architecture with strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (ExactTarget). /li liHands-on technical experience with customer journeys, segmentation, personalization, SQL, APIs, data models, integrations, automation, and platform troubleshooting. /li liSalesforce certifications in Marketing Cloud, Loyalty, Data Cloud (Data 360), or other relevant Salesforce technologies. /li liExperience supporting multi-country marketing programs with localization requirements and strong knowledge of GDPR, consent management, and European privacy regulations. /li liFamiliarity with Marketing Cloud Next/Advanced, AI-enabled marketing, customer data platforms, and modern marketing technology ecosystems. /li liStrong understanding of omnichannel customer engagement across email, SMS, push notifications, and campaign performance measurement. /li liProven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while balancing regional needs with global platform standards. /li liExcellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and solution architecture skills, with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and experience in retail, ecommerce, or consumer brands. /li /ul h3Who We Are /h3 pHeadquartered in Southern California, Skechers - the Comfort Technology Company® - has spent over 30 years helping men, women, and kids everywhere look and feel good.
