Human by nature. Global Head of IMS - Your future role? As the Global Head of IMS, you will establish a clear company vision for indirect spend globally with focus on value creation and bottom line‑aligned with the current strategy goals and targets. You will lead develop Regional Heads Senior Global Category Managers and manage a skilled, efficient, diverse and performance driven IMS organization. The role offers direct exposure to and close collaboration with senior executive leadership while representing Procurement in key strategic initiatives. You will report directly to the Chief Procurement Sustainability Officer. You will be based in Vernier or Kemptthal, Zürich. Your Main Responsibilities Will Include IMS strategy development and execution Establish and execute a global strategy for indirect materials and services procurement within Givaudan in order to manage spend as effectively as possible Work with IMS organization and stakeholders to ensure strategy is understood, adapted to business requirements and gives transparency of spend, compliance and performance Take responsibility for the overall establishment and delivery of IMS savings targets Drive compliance through the development, maintenance and follow‑up of appropriate corporate IMS policies. Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to IMS Regional Managers and Category Managers along with development, training and promotion opportunities based on performance Develop solid succession plans and stand‑out leaders for key positions within the IMS organization Develop collaboration within and across regions within the IMS procurement organization Sustainability Sponsor Scope 3 roadmap for IMS Represent IMS in Sustainable Operations Steerco and ensure projects move forward Stakeholder management Represent the IMS procurement function with key business stakeholders Foster strong collaboration between global, regional and local procurement and key regional stakeholders by ensuring transparency, effective communication, understanding business needs and alignment Follow up with business leaders and functions when required in the event of any non‑compliance AI/Technology Leverage AI and advanced technologies to enhance procurement processes and decision‑making to drive organization optimization Champion digital tools for data analysis, supplier performance tracking, and market trend forecasting to drive efficiencies and improve sourcing strategies Be a force of proposition on emerging technologies and industry trends that can impact Indirect Procurement Categories Your professional profile includes Master degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent At least 15 years of experience in Procurement/Commercial and/or OPS organizations with minimum 10 years of proven track record in direct or indirect procurement roles Minimum 7 years of proven leadership experience in an international environment Knowledge of FF/FMCG/Chemical industry Fluent in English, other languages are beneficial Strong understanding of procurement processes and systems Excellent Communication/Storytelling skills Strong leadership skills, with emphasis on people management Cultural awareness and adaptable to fast changing business requirements Exceptional relationship builder and stakeholder manager; has the ability to form and grow own networks Change management skills – track record in managing culture and complex transformations Our Benefits Healthcare support Paid Time Off and family leave Retirement plan Sport and leisure clubs Company shop Staff restaurant Mobility allowance At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.
